Nothing to epic leads up to it at first. He is the 'new' father and husband to his new wife and step kids. They go look at a new house to buy but find out its old owners were brutally murdered in it. They decide to buy it any ways. Soon the daughter starts talking about seeing the murdered little girl and the husband slowly starts to come undone.
The moment of significance was when they are settled into the new house and the husband stops and you can tell he senses something. Its bot overly obvious but enough to know somethings wrong. Its important because from then on he's aggressive, abusive, angry and deranged. It starts out slow at that moment he senses something. Then it gradually worsens when he kills their dog. Finally the breaking point is when he trys to kill his family.

Character Example
'The Nightmare Before Christmas'
-Jack Skellington
(When he frees Santa from Ooggie Boggie)
What was revealed about Jack was that he is caring and is able to understand his mistakes and to make them better.
What was going on is Jack is the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town. One day he stumbles upon Christmas Town. He likes it so much that he kidnaps Santa and brings him back to Halloween Town so they can have their own Christmas. So Jack does his own Christmas but people are scared. He fails. When Jack returns he must save Sally and Santa from Ooggie Boggie (he wants to eat them).
The creator developed the character by showing Jacks authoritative side. Through out the movie it shows him bossing people around and him taking charge. When it comes to the scene it shows his softer side when trys to save them.
This scene was important because it shows how nice Jack really is and how he never ment to hurt anyone. It showed character developement because after he crashes he slowly starts to realize that he cant be Santa.

Character Developement
The book i have chosen is called 'Inkheart'. What made the characters interesting was that there was different types of them. They also had cool abilities. Some could read things out of books that they read out loud. Another one could play with fire. There was also another one that was very good with a knife. They were portrayed as good and evil. The 'good guys' had to get away from the 'bad guys'.
The characters were not revealed all at once. As the story progressed, new characters were introduced. You did not know all about the characters either. You learned more about them also as the stories move on. Thier relationships added to others and helped because in the end they are all interwind some how. They are the casue and effect of each other. Yes there was because as you read the story, you always haad a good visual image of the characters and you knew thier traits plus what they were like.

Spaghetti Thing
After listening to Malcolm Gladwell i now realize that i had always thought there had been variety in food choise. He spoke of how you cant make one thing to please people, you have to make many things to please people. He made a good point when he said, "in embracing the diversity of human beings we find true happiness". Thanx to Howard we have a variety when it comes to food becasue of him thinking beyond the norm.
The anologies he made were about Pepsi and spaghetti sauce. When trying to decide how much aspertain to put in Pepsi (taking a test and getting mixed results) Howard said, "you cant make a perfect Pepsi you have to make the perfect Pepsis". This sparked an interestand soon people were on to the idea. This lead to his big anology: spaghetti sauce. By making different samples of it, they concluded that people appeal more to variety.

What Makes us Canadian?
What makes us Canadian? Cold winters and hot summers. Drinking a beer while cheering on your favorite hockey team. Being polite and helping each other. We live in one of the moxt beautiful countries with so much space its rediculus. We may say "eh" alot but at least people remember us. We are not scared of the snow, we embrace it. People make fun of us for living in igloos and the way we speak. But in a way it defines us and makes us unique. I am proud to be Candaian!!

My Mark
Pencil to paper
Ink to skin
The pencil gets darker
The ink stays in
Smudge the edge
Follow the line
To close to the ledge
Needles of nine
Blending to shade
Lightest to dark
Creation is made
A permanent mark

What Makes Good Poetry
I think what makes good poetry is when a person can connect to what is being said. No one is gonna be interested in something thats borin and stupid. If its catchy (Ryming pattern) or if it flows good. If it can paint a picture in your head while you read it, is another bonus. Telling a story also helps to hold your attention. Figures of Speech are also good because it helps to understand the story and make it more interesting.
